1. If you do not own your own domain name and wish to have your site
hosted at www.yourname.com, with our free hosting solution (or if
you just need a domain name), please click on sign up now at the left
side of this screen and choose get a domain from the radio button
choices in the BootBox Secure Registration Center, and register your
domain for a period of 2 years only. Do not register your domain name
for any more or any less than 2 years as our server checks this and
it could cause a problem with your website. If you already own a domain
name, you can choose from any of our premium hosting solutions starting
as low as $6.95/mo. We apologize, but we are no longer accepting
any domain transfers, or extensions, in order to host on our free
service. The only way we are accepting sites for our free service
is if the customer purchases a new domain through us for a period
of exactly 2 years and applys for our free hosting solution.
2. DO NOT DISCONTINUE YOUR CURRENT HOSTING
PROVIDER UNTIL YOU ARE FULLY FUNCTIONAL ON THE BOOTBOX SERVERS.
If you do so, your site could potentially be down for 5-7 business
days, if not longer.
Please note that we are not allowing the following web sites to host
on our servers:
Adult Sites - Sites that contain pornography of any kind including
without limitation sites that link to sites with pornography
MP3 Sites - Sites contain large amounts of files that can be downloaded
(usually illegal files), we do however allow sites that wish to link
files from other sites for downloading as long as the files are not
hosted on BootBox servers, and no laws are being broken by the webmaster(s)
of the specific sites.
Any sites that contain illegal offerings - This includes without limitation
MP3's, Warez, Hacking, Cracking, Phreaking, Child Pornography, etc.
Any sites that contain hateful or violent offerings including without
limitation Diabolism (Satanism), KKK, Hate Groups, etc.
BootBox reservers the right to deny any site without reason. Should
your site be denied you will not receive any notification and you
may feel free to re-apply. We are working on a way to notify all parties
whose requests are denied for any reason but that service is not yet
available.
If you feel that your site was unfairly refused and wish to submit
a detailed description of the offering on your site please do so by
sending an e-mail to info@bootbox.net.
Perhaps it was just a simple misunderstanding on our part, and therefore
we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. Please understand
that these rules and regulations exist solely for the protection of
you, our clients and BootBox Computers, Inc.
Basically if you have a question about whether the material is illegal
or not, take the initiative and don't upload it to our servers.
Using your site's FTP space to offer illegal, or large downloads that
will use up all of the bandwidth provided for use by all of our hosting
partners.
BootBox Computers Incorporated ("BootBox") makes available for your
use on this Web site (the "Site") information, documents, software
and products (collectively, the "Materials") and various services
(the "Services"), subject to the terms and conditions set forth in
